Job summary

gpac seeks an experienced Traveling Superintendent to lead construction projects across the United States. This boots-on-the-ground role requires ownership, oversight of field operations, and coordination of crews while traveling full-time.

You will manage subcontractors, schedules, safety, quality, and communication with PMs and clients. A strong track record in commercial/industrial construction and blueprint interpretation is required, with a solid focus on problem-solving and leadership.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent.
• Commercial or industrial construction experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily field operations and project activities.
• Manage subcontractors, vendors, crews, and jobsite personnel.
• Maintain project schedules and keep work on track.
• Ensure quality, safety, and compliance standards are met.
• Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Coordinate materials, manpower, and deliveries.
• Communicate project progress with PMs, clients, and field teams.
• Identify and resolve jobsite issues proactively.
• Maintain daily reports and project documentation.

• Experience managing subcontractors and multiple trades
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and make decisions in the field
• Construction software experience is a plus
