Komatsu US is seeking a National Field Service Electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems on mining equipment across the United States. This role requires extensive travel, often staying on site for up to 6 weeks with a 1 week break, and operates within the Field Service unit to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient machine performance.

Ideal candidates have a strong background in electrical systems, field service experience, and a willingness to travel nationwide.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Journeyman trade / technical certification in electrical systems, welding or mechanical, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Clean driving record required.
• 5 years' mining experience preferred but not required.
• Experience with VFDs, MCCs, and high voltage is a plus.
• Proven experience in industrial electrical systems, field service preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on mining equipment in the field.
• Install and configure electrical components and systems per safety standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance to improve equipment performance.
• Document service work and maintain accurate reports on job status.
• Provide exceptional customer service and build strong client relationships.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve complex issues.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices to enhance performance.
