Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• 7-12 years of experience leading a component of work or whole project on commercial/industrial construction.
• OSHA 30-hour certified, STS-C, First Aid/CPR/AED/Stop the Bleed training.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Directs day-to-day coordination of trade contractors and subcontractors to meet the project schedule.
• Develops and communicates the work plan for field changes.
• Ensures understanding of contract documents to anticipate problems.
• Obtains permits for construction as needed.
• Establishes credibility with owners, trades, and partners.
• Acts as primary safety representative in the field and enforces safety compliance.
• Leads contractor meetings and maintains daily reports.
• Creates and updates the project schedule and contingency plans.
