Job summary

HDR in United States-Ohio-Columbus is seeking a Senior Transportation Program Manager to oversee multidisciplinary infrastructure programs. You will serve as the client’s primary contact, guiding delivery strategies, governance, and performance while ensuring contract compliance and high client satisfaction.

The role requires leading teams across engineering, environmental planning, finance, and scheduling, with a focus on large-scale projects and travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Sciences, Planning, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
• Bachelor's degree in related field or an equivalent combination of education and related professional experience
• 10 years related experience
• A minimum of 5 years of project management experience
• Familiar with Microsoft Office, estimating and scheduling software, project management software
• Must have the ability to interact with various design teams, have excellent organizational, project management and communication skills
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary infrastructure programs with high technical complexity.
• Advise clients on technical, regulatory, financial, and community aspects of programs.
• Plan, direct and monitor all aspects of program execution including multiple disciplines.
• Identify risks and issues; provide strategic advice and risk mitigation.
• Develop and implement program management plans, startup plans and work plans.
• Direct services provided by HDR and subconsultants; ensure contract compliance and QA/QC.
