Job summary

Stantec is seeking a US Transmission Line Engineering Manager to lead and advance our national practice across the United States. You will shape strategy, elevate technical and delivery excellence, and build an integrated practice for enduring growth.

Reporting to the Power Delivery Operations Manager, you will unite coast-to-coast experts, align people and programs, and ensure high-quality delivery of major transmission projects while mentoring leaders and expanding client relationships.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, Electrical, or related engineering discipline.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in at least one U.S. state; ability to obtain additional registrations.
• Experience leading multiple teams and offices; strong business development and client management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the U.S. transmission line practice as a national team, fostering collaboration and resource sharing.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and development oversight to transmission line engineering managers and their teams.
• Develop and execute the strategic vision, growth plan, and operating objectives for the U.S. transmission line practice.
• Drive utilization, workforce planning, and resource management across the organization.
• Mentor staff and provide strategic and technical guidance.
• Communicate performance and priorities to leadership using KPIs.
• Support recruitment, succession planning, and professional development.
• Collaborate across units to expand capacity and improve delivery.
