Job summary

Stantec is seeking a US Transmission Line Engineering Manager to lead and advance our nationwide transmission line practice, aligning people, projects, and program support across the country. This role reports to the Power Delivery Operations Manager and focuses on strategy, excellence, and growth.

You will shape the practice direction, oversee technical quality, and drive workforce planning while maintaining strong client relationships and overseeing major transmission programs.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to lead engineering managers and geographically distributed technical teams.
• Strong knowledge of the U.S. electric utility and transmission line market.
• Experience with business development, client engagement, capture planning, proposals and interviews.

Responsibilities

• Lead the U.S. transmission line practice as a single integrated national team.
• Develop and execute the strategic vision, growth plan, and operating objectives for the U.S. transmission line practice.
• Drive workforce planning and resource management across the organization.
• Mentor team members and provide strategic and technical guidance.
• Cultivate relationships with clients and leadership to align investment and delivery.
