Job summary
Stantec is seeking an accomplished US Transmission Line Engineering Manager to lead and advance our national transmission line practice across the United States. This role reports to the Power Delivery Operations Manager and unites coast-to-coast teams to deliver high-profile transmission projects with a focus on strategy, technical excellence, and growth.
You will mentor engineering managers, oversee staffing and delivery, and collaborate with operations, sector leaders, and clients to align
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, Electrical, or related discipline.
- Licensed Professional Engineer in at least one U.S. state.
- Minimum 15 years of progressive transmission line experience.
- Experience leading geographically distributed teams.
- Experience with business development and client management.
Responsibilities
- Lead the U.S. transmission line practice as a single integrated national team.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and development oversight to transmission line engineering managers.
- Develop and execute the strategic vision, growth plan, and operating objectives for the U.S. transmission line practice.
- Drive consistent utilization, workforce planning, and resource management across the organization.
- Mentor team members and provide strategic and technical guidance.
- Communicate performance and priorities to leadership using KPIs.
