Job summary

Stantec seeks an accomplished US Transmission Line Engineering Manager to lead and advance our nationwide transmission line practice. This role offers visibility to shape strategy, elevate delivery, and drive growth across the United States.

You will mentor teams, align resources, and engage with executive clients to ensure high-quality delivery and sustained growth. The role requires a PE license and 15+ years in the field.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead engineering managers and geographically distributed teams.
• Strong knowledge of the U.S. electric utility and transmission line market.
• Established relationships and credibility within the transmission line industry.
• Experience supporting business development, capture planning, proposals, and client interviews.
• Proven experience delivering transmission line engineering and design projects for utilities, developers, or EPCs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the U.S. transmission line practice as a single integrated national team.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and development oversight to managers and teams.
• Develop and execute the strategic vision, growth plan, and operating objectives for the national practice.
• Drive resource management, utilization, and workforce planning across the organization.
• Mentor staff and provide strategic/technical guidance.
• Communicate performance and priorities to leadership using KPIs.
