Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a National Training Manager to design, develop, and deliver compliant training solutions for a field sales organization, ensuring Training & Development and Brand Strategy are integrated across programs. The role requires quick stakeholder relationship building, strong coaching, and executive-level communication to drive performance.

You will coach National Field Trainers, align training with franchise priorities, and lead cross-functional initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of field sales experience in pharmaceutical industry as an Account Executive or District Manager or 2+ years sales training experience
• Knowledge of CFR 210/211, cGMP
• Prior experience leading projects with regional or national impact
• High performing sales track record and strong understanding of what drives success in a commercial organization

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and delivers compliant learning solutions that increases effectiveness and credibility of participants.
• Builds trust and credibility with key stakeholders through regular interaction, evidenced by feedback and proven working partnerships.
• Leverages existing Learning & Development platforms and content within the Franchise/Brand training products to limit duplicative efforts.
• Demonstrates direct and open communication to key stakeholders resulting in positive relationships and mutual alignment.
• Provides candid and specific verbal & written feedback to training participants and plans for improved performance.
• Provides coaching and feedback to National Field Trainers (NFT) across the organization to help them excel.
• Develops Guest Trainers and Rotational Trainers with meaningful roles and coaching.
• Leads cross-functional initiatives and may manage special projects within training organization.
