Job summary

National Commercialization and Translation Institute (NCTI) seeks a Commercialization Director to shape a first-of-its-kind NSF-funded national initiative. You will work with technology companies to evaluate market opportunities, guide commercialization plans, and connect startups with national resources to accelerate growth and investment readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience per Florida statute.
• Experience advising founders, executives, or entrepreneurial teams on growth, commercialization planning, funding readiness, or investor engagement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate cohort onboarding for six to eight selected companies with structured finalist interviews.
• Lead diagnostic triage and development plans anchored to readiness frameworks for each company.
• Provide concierge support, recruit and manage lead advisors, and connect companies to national resources.
• Support governance and milestone accountability through structured milestone verification materials.
