Job summary

Boston Government Services, LLC is seeking a Commercialization Advisor to support DOE’s Industrial Technologies Office in Washington, DC. The role focuses on advising researchers and small businesses on strategies for commercialization, fundraising, and operations.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in hard-tech commercialization, strong communication skills, and the ability to work with diverse stakeholders in fast-moving environments. Hybrid schedule in the DC area is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, science, or engineering.
• Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
• Strong written, organizational, and research skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise researchers and small businesses on commercialization strategies.
• Develop business plans, fundraising and operational guidance.
• Collaborate with DOE ITO and partners on program design and adoption.
• Engage with investors and industry stakeholders to promote DOE initiatives.
• Prepare briefings and reports for senior federal staff and partners.
