Forvis Mazars US is seeking a senior tax professional with deep expertise in compensation and benefits taxation to join the Washington National Tax Office. You will advise on executive compensation, retirement and welfare plans, and related IRC provisions, while shaping national tax strategies and client offerings.

As a national thought leader, you will monitor evolving legislation and case law, collaborate across teams, and deliver value through education, seminars and strategic guidance.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting/Taxation or JD.
• 10+ years of tax experience with a large firm or policy entity CPA/JD/LLM.
• Deep knowledge of compensation and benefits taxation including exec comp, retirement plans, health and welfare plans, IRC 83, 162(m), 409A.
• Uncommon ability to digest and apply complex tax authority to real-world facts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and client service.

Responsabilidades

• Provide insights on evolving legislation, guidance and case law to the Firm team and their clients.
• Build the Firm network of key relationships within the tax community.
• Inform legislators and governance bodies about tax policy issues and practical implications for Forvis Mazars and clients.
• Identify opportunities to create new service offerings or improve existing services.
• Develop and deploy service model platforms, strategies and solutions based on developments.
• Launch new national tax service lines in collaboration with the Tax Specialty team.
• Grow the Firm's brand as a thought leader through publishing and speaking.
• Support Firm tax professionals on proposals and key client matters.
• Complete engagements for complex, high value specialty work.
