Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Solutions Architect to support our US Space Force Customer on the National Security Team. You will serve as a trusted technical advisor, guiding complex cloud architectures and mission-critical workloads in a cleared environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (cloud, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
• 5+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.
• Bachelor's degree, or CASP+ (CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner) or CCSP or Cloud+ or CSSLP.
• Current, active TS/SCI US Government Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Architect cloud-based solutions in response to complex technical challenges.
• In partnership with the sales team, formulate and execute a technical sales strategy to achieve revenue objectives through the adoption of AWS.
• Build and migrate applications, software and services to AWS as part of the business development and sales teams.
• Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS and participate in deep architectural discussions for geospatial cloud deployments.
• Conduct training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers considering or using AWS.
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solutions architect community.
• Author or contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers and reusable content.
• Build deep relationships with senior technical personnel within customers to enable cloud advocacy.
• Act as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams and support.
• This position may involve up to 20% travel.
