Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a National Security Solutions Architect to support US Government customers in the Northern Virginia/DC Metro area.

This high-visibility role partners with Sales and Platform Engineering to craft scalable, secure cloud architectures for Intelligence Community workloads and missions. The candidate will translate customer needs into architectural designs, lead strategic enablement, and mentor teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 5+ years of experience in technology domains (cloud, security, networking, data & analytics).
• Bachelor's degree or relevant cloud security certs (CASP+/CCSP/CSSLP/CLOUD+).

Responsibilities

• Formulate and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue objectives through the adoption of AWS.
• Build and migrate applications, software and services on the AWS platform.
• Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS and participate in deep architectural discussions.
• Conduct one-to-many training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers considering or using AWS.
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge within the AWS SA community.
• Author or contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers and reusable content.
• Build relationships with senior technical individuals within customers to enable cloud advocacy.
• Act as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams and support.
