About Stack Equipment

Stack Equipment is a growing provider of new and used aerial and construction equipment, specializing in equipment sales, painting, aerial equipment service, and parts. With locations in Wisconsin, Florida, Texas, and North Carolina, we are continuing to expand our operations and sales organization.

We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Sales Manager to oversee our company-wide sales team, strengthen daily sales operations, and drive accountability toward established revenue and profitability goals.

Position Overview

The Sales Manager will be responsible for the daily management, coaching, performance, and accountability of sales representatives across all Stack Equipment locations.

This position will focus on executing established sales initiatives, monitoring performance against company budgets and forecasts, maintaining pipeline discipline, coordinating inventory needs, and improving overall sales efficiency.

Working directly with executive leadership, the Sales Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for the sales team and ensure representatives have the direction, resources, and accountability necessary to achieve company goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and manage sales representatives across all Stack Equipment locations, ensuring consistent performance, accountability, and team development.
  • Monitor individual and company-wide sales performance against established revenue, gross profit, budgets, forecasts, and KPI targets.
  • Conduct weekly sales meetings, review performance metrics, identify challenges, and implement actionable plans to improve results.
  • Oversee daily sales operations, including lead management, customer follow-up, pipeline activity, quotes, and pending transactions.
  • Ensure accurate and consistent use of HubSpot, NetSuite, and other company systems to maintain sales visibility, reporting, and accountability.
  • Support sales representatives with customer negotiations, deal progression, and day-to-day challenges while maintaining a focus on profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor inventory availability, aging equipment, and customer demand to identify purchasing needs and sales opportunities.
  • Coordinate equipment purchasing recommendations, freight, transfers, and delivery requirements with executive leadership and operations.
  • Collaborate with site managers, service, accounting, and other departments to ensure efficient sales transactions and timely equipment deliveries.
  • Execute company sales initiatives, improve sales processes, and maintain consistent standards across all locations.
  • Provide executive leadership with regular updates on sales performance, inventory needs, operational challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, training, and continued development of the sales team as the company grows.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of sales experience, in construction equipment, aerial equipment, heavy machinery, or a related industry.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and developing sales teams.
  • Strong understanding of revenue, gross profit, sales margins, and performance metrics.
  • Experience managing sales pipelines, KPIs, and accountability standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple locations and competing priorities.
  • Experience with CRM and ERP systems; HubSpot and NetSuite experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with inventory management, equipment purchasing, and logistics preferred.
  • Willingness to travel to other company locations as needed.

Success will be measured by team performance against established revenue and gross profit goals, sales activity and conversion rates, pipeline accuracy, inventory coordination, and the ability to proactively identify and resolve operational challenges.

This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of a growing multi-location sales organization, work directly with executive leadership, and play a key role in Stack Equipment's continued expansion.
