Qualifications

• 7+ years of sales experience in CPG, with a proven record of selling food/beverage to national retailers.
• Active buyer relationships within supermarket chains or mass merchandisers.
• Strong understanding of retail trade spend, promotions, category management, and distribution workflows.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with a relationship-first approach.
• High initiative and team-oriented mindset with cross-department collaboration.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent) and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute sales strategies to expand Eastland's portfolio into national banners and mass retailers.
• Deliver buyer presentations, line reviews, and growth pitches to major retail accounts.
• Partner with buyers to introduce line extensions, seasonal promotions, and high-velocity SKUs.
• Direct and support external broker partners for store-level execution and distribution.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Supply Chain, and Marketing to align forecasts and promos.
• Analyze category sales data and market trends to uncover new channels and opportunities.
• Manage trade spend, budgets, and margins for sustainable growth with partners.
• Lead and develop a high-performing sales team with coaching and accountability.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and performance management of direct reports.
