Job summary

Federal Signal Corporation in University Park, IL seeks an experienced national accounts sales professional to grow revenue across State Police, OEMs, GSA and federal agencies. You will develop strategic plans, manage major accounts, and build direct agency relationships while coordinating with Marketing, Product and Operations to optimize conversions and protect the active state-agency base.

The role requires 3+ years in emergency-vehicle or safety markets, a Bachelor’s degree, and willingness

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of sales experience in emergency vehicle equipment or related markets.
• Proven success selling to state/federal agencies, OEMs, or national accounts.

Responsibilities

• Own the national-account plan for State Police agencies and expand coverage.
• Build and execute annual business plans for target national segments.
• Achieve revenue and gross-profit targets for state agencies and OEM channels.
• Establish direct relationships with agency fleet leadership and OEM program managers.
• Coordinate with regional sales managers and cross-functional teams to drive strategy and conversions.
• Partner with other divisions to leverage military-base opportunities for Police/Federal markets.
• Track pipeline metrics and report progress against forecasts.
• Represent Federal Signal at agency visits and industry events.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Sales.
