Job summary

Toyota Financial Services is seeking a National Manager, Commercial Credit Risk Management to provide enterprise leadership for all commercial credit risk activities, ensuring portfolio integrity and timely insights for executives. The role reports to the Chief Risk Officer and partners with senior stakeholders to improve processes and governance across lending portfolios.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Risk Management, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in commercial credit risk management, credit administration, or portfolio oversight.
• Experience in underwriting, watchlist borrower management, risk ratings and risk triggers, and committee governance.
• Experience partnering with executive leadership, including the Chief Risk Officer.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex risk topics into clear insights.
• Willing and able to travel up to 15% as business needs may require

Responsibilities

• Lead and influence a high-performing team to execute commercial lending risk activities with accuracy and discipline.
• Build a credit risk framework aligned to the organization’s size, complexity, and growth.
• Drive process improvements and automation to streamline risk workflows and decision-making.
• Serve as primary liaison for FDIC examinations, audits, and risk reviews with timely remediation.
• Collaborate across Credit, Risk, Underwriting, Operations, Sales, and Finance to inform sound decisions.
• Provide independent challenge and oversight of the commercial loan portfolio, including real estate and working capital loans.
• Prepare Executive Committee materials and Board reporting with clear data-driven recommendations.
