Job summary

Hyundai Capital America (HCA) is seeking a Director of Commercial Credit Portfolio Management to lead underwriting and risk mitigation for the national commercial portfolio. This role collaborates with Operations, Risk, and Sales to support dealer servicing and risk management initiatives.

The position focuses on strategy, process improvement, and execution of risk frameworks, with emphasis on AI-enabled insights and cross-functional collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• 10 years of progressive experience in Credit Underwriting and Commercial business operations.
• 5 years of management experience leading teams.
• Bachelor's degree in or a related discipline; Master's preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily commercial underwriting activities for existing customers and annual reviews.
• Manage portfolio servicing, credit line adjustments, interim requests, payoffs, and collections.
• Lead commercial risk management strategy and implement risk framework across the portfolio.
• Develop and enhance plans for dealer risk management, UCC compliance, and floorplan audit processes.
• Collaborate with Risk, Legal, Operations, and Sales to ensure compliance and operational integrity.
