Job summary

TGR Foundation seeks a Chief Learning Innovation Officer to architect and operate the national program model. You will design curriculum systems, quality standards, and credentialing across markets while ensuring scalable, measurable outcomes that meet funder expectations.

The role requires leading cross‑lab governance, building PD infrastructure, and aligning career‑connected learning with workforce opportunities. Travel and collaboration across markets are essential.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in education, workforce development, EdTech, or related fields with senior leadership experience.
  • Proven ability to design and scale program models across multiple sites or markets.
  • Ownership of curriculum strategy and credentialing infrastructure at scale; comfortable with build‑vs‑partner‑vs‑buy decisions.
  • Track record leading large, distributed teams with measurable outcomes.
  • Experience across K–12, workforce and technology sectors is preferred.
  • Fluency with data and measurement systems used by executives and funders.
  • Entrepreneurial and solutions‑oriented; acts with clarity in ambiguity and moves quickly.
  • Practical educator with strong judgement who can standardize where needed and flex where appropriate.
  • Credible with teachers, operators, CTOs and corporate partners.
  • Builder’s temperament: energized by turning a blank page into a system.

Responsibilities

  • Design and own a centralized, best‑in‑class STEAM curriculum system serving every Learning Lab and modality.
  • Build and govern a national curriculum repository with internal, partner or sponsored content.
  • Codify build‑versus‑partner‑versus‑buy criteria and ownership.
  • Establish curriculum governance, standards and packaging for cutting‑edge, scalable delivery.
  • Define and enforce a national program quality standard; translate standards into consistent delivery.
  • Develop a national onboarding, training and PD system for Learning Labs; standardize national vs. local responsibilities.
  • Scale external PD and innovations such as externships and industry‑embedded PDP across Labs.
  • Drive Career‑Connected Learning (CCL) as a signature offering from exposure to careers to postsecondary alignment.
