Job summary

Stantec is seeking a US Transmission Line Engineering Manager to lead and advance the transmission line engineering and design practice across the United States. This national leadership role focuses on strategy, technical excellence, and growth, aligning people, project delivery, and program support nationwide.

Qualifications

• Lead engineering management and distributed teams across multiple offices.
• Experience delivering transmission line engineering and design projects for utilities, developers, or EPCs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the U.S. transmission line practice as a single integrated national team.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and development oversight to transmission line engineering managers and their teams.
• Develop and execute the strategic vision, growth plan, and operating objectives for the U.S. transmission line practice.
• Drive workforce planning and resource management across the organization.
• Mentor team members and provide strategic and technical guidance.
• Communicate practice performance and key priorities to leadership with KPIs.
• Partner with Operations, Sector Leadership, and Project Managers to balance workload and ensure outcomes.
• Ensure projects are staffed and executed to quality, safety, and technical standards.
