Job summary

Sika is seeking a Technical Service Representative for Flooring in the USA. The role supports customers, contractors, and sales teams with product recommendations, field evaluations, and technical training.

Occasional national travel is required, and the candidate should be located near a major airport to facilitate field work. Responsibilities include site visits, troubleshooting, data documentation, and collaboration with Technical Management to ensure installation best practices and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or related discipline; equivalent industry experience considered.
• Minimum 3–5 years in technical service, field support, or flooring/related industries.
• Experience with resinous flooring systems and installation practices is highly desirable.
• Direct experience supporting customers, contractors, distributors, and sales teams.
• Strong communication skills and ability to travel nationally.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers, contractors, and sales teams for flooring products and applications.
• Perform field visits to evaluate substrates, review installation procedures, and provide recommendations.
• Investigate complaints, document findings, and support timely resolutions.
• Support product trials, field tests, and new product introductions with cross-functional teams.
• Deliver technical training and contribute to creation of training materials and literature.
