Job summary

Sika is seeking a Technical Service Representative for the Flooring Target Market in the United States. You will provide high-quality technical support to customers, contractors, and internal teams, including field installations and troubleshooting of Sika flooring systems.

Responsibilities include jobsite evaluations, field tests, and training programs, with travel nationwide. A technical degree and 3–5 years of relevant experience are preferred, along with strong communication and reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, construction management, business, or related discipline preferred; equivalent industry experience will be considered.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of technical service, field support, construction products, flooring, coatings, or related industry experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of resinous flooring systems, surface preparation, concrete substrates, moisture-related conditions, installation practices, and common field troubleshooting methods is highly desirable.
• Direct experience supporting customers, contractors, applicators, distributors, and sales teams in field or technical service environments.
• Strong customer focus with the ability to communicate technical information clearly, professionally, and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports, site summaries, technical correspondence, and documentation.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, interpersonal, and time-management skills.
• Ability to travel nationally as required to support customers, jobsite evaluations, training events, and field activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers and teams on Sika flooring products and installation practices.
• Conduct jobsite visits to evaluate substrate conditions and advise on procedures.
• Assist with investigation of quality incidents and field evaluations.
• Support product trials, field tests, and new product introductions.
• Prepare technical reports, site visit summaries, and warranty information.
• Deliver technical training programs and product demonstrations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of flooring systems and industry standards.
