Sika Corporation is seeking a Technical Service Representative for the Flooring Target Market to deliver high-quality technical support to customers, contractors, and sales teams. You will perform field evaluations, provide product recommendations, and document findings to ensure project success.

The role requires 3–5 years in technical service or flooring, the ability to travel nationally, and strong communication and reporting skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of technical service, field support, flooring, coatings, or related experience.
• Knowledge of resinous flooring systems, substrate prep, moisture issues, installation practices.
• Experience supporting customers, contractors, and sales teams in field environments.
• Strong written communication for reports and site summaries.
• Organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Ability to travel nationally as needed.
• Proficiency with MS Office and related reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers, contractors, applicators, distributors, sales personnel, and internal teams.
• Conduct jobsite visits to evaluate substrate conditions and review installation procedures.
• Document findings, assist with evaluations and complaint investigations, and support timely resolutions.
• Support product trials, field tests, and new product introductions with cross-functional teams.
• Provide accurate technical guidance based on project requirements and standards.
• Prepare technical reports, site visit summaries, and other technical correspondence.
• Develop and maintain technical literature, training materials, and website content.
• Deliver training programs, product demonstrations, and contractor education sessions.
• Stay updated on flooring systems, standards, codes, and market trends.
• Provide phone and email technical support with a customer-focused approach.
