Job summary

Interstate Batteries is seeking a Senior Fleet Manager to provide centralized leadership for the fleet program across North America. You will drive acquisitions, maintenance, regulatory compliance, and cost management for company-owned and leased assets, while partnering with Procurement, Finance, and IT vendors.

You will set KPI dashboards, guide risk/safety initiatives, and mentor the fleet team, ensuring efficient uptime and optimal total cost of ownership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, logistics, or related field.
• 7–10 years commercial fleet leadership experience.
• CAFM or CTP credentials are a plus.
• DOT expertise and hazmat regulations knowledge.
• Experience managing a national commercial/private fleet.
• Strong leadership with proven financial and tactical results.
• Proficient in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and/or Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute and maintain a national fleet program.
• Manage fleet operations and compliance across the system.
• Oversee maintenance, procurement, and lifecycle of fleet assets.
• Set KPIs and report to leadership.
• Lead vendor relationships with leasing, maintenance, and IT vendors.
