Job summary

Prime Electric is seeking a Senior Fleet Operations Director to lead the organization’s vehicle and equipment fleet across multiple regions. You will drive maintenance, procurement, and safety programs while collaborating with other departments to optimize operations.

The role requires extensive fleet management experience, strong leadership, and a track record of improving cost efficiency and regulatory compliance. Travel up to 30% to sites and offices is expected.

Qualifications

• Ten+ years of experience in fleet management or related roles.
• Three+ years of managerial experience in construction or similar industries.
• Valid state driver's license and insurable driving record.
• Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and contracts.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, DOT and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Direct fleet operations across multiple regions with regular travel up to 30%.
• Oversee procurement, maintenance, repairs, and safety of equipment.
• Develop and implement fleet strategies for cost efficiency.
• Manage budgets and vendor negotiations for fleet services.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and proper licensing/registrations.
• Generate performance reports for senior management.
