Shambaugh & Son L.P. is seeking an Account Coordinator for the Fire Protection National Service Division. You will support national account customers and branch operations by coordinating service activities, maintaining clear communication, and ensuring accurate documentation.

This role is essential for delivering excellent customer service and operational excellence. The position is onsite in Fort Wayne, IN, with expectations to coordinate inspections, track jobs, and generate performance

Qualifications

• 2+ years in customer service, account coordination, or service administration.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience in service, construction, fire protection, or facilities‑related industries is preferred.
• Regular and reliable attendance, including extended hours and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary contact for assigned customers.
• Coordinate inspections, service requests, and follow-up activities.
• Monitor job status and communicate updates to customers and internal teams.
• Review service documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Generate customer reports and assist with performance tracking.
• Support compliance, contract requirements, and process improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Operations, Sales, Accounting, and other departments to resolve customer needs.
• Other duties as assigned.
