Job summary

Shambaugh & Son, a major fire protection contractor in Central Illinois, seeks a Fire Protection Sales Representative to drive growth across the region. You will identify opportunities, manage accounts, visit sites, prepare estimates, and collaborate with operations to deliver solutions from concept to completion.

The ideal candidate has 3 years of fire alarm sales experience, familiarity with NFPA standards, and a proven ability to build long-term partnerships with contractors, facility owners,

Qualifications

• 3 years of fire alarm sales experience.
• NICET certification preferred.
• Experience with FIKE, Edwards and Notifier systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients and contractors at offices and on job sites.
• Build and manage sales for the division.
• Determine customer needs and develop a sales strategy for offerings.
• Close enough sales to meet or exceed the sales plan.
• Read blueprints and apply NFPA codes relevant to fire protection.
• Foster ongoing relationships with customers, contractors, and end users.
• Estimate both small and large projects.
• Develop new business relationships and grow the Fire Alarm business.
• Perform other duties as required.
