Job summary

R-2 Contractors, INC is seeking a dedicated Site Safety Lead to join our field team. You will implement safety programs, perform site audits, and train crews to maintain a safe, compliant work environment on civil and underground projects nationwide.

This full-time, travel-heavy position reports to the Safety Manager. Expect early starts, long days, and occasional weekend work as project demands require, with competitive hourly pay of $40–$50 DOE.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' safety experience in construction or a similar field.
• Strong understanding of OSHA 1926 regulations and state-specific safety laws.
• Certs such as CSP/CHST/STSC are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily site safety walks and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Lead safety leadership walks with general contractors (GCs).
• Provide training and safety orientations for new personnel.
