Job summary

R-2 Contractors is seeking a dedicated Site Safety Lead to join our nationwide civil and underground construction team. This full‑time, travel‑heavy role focuses on implementing safety protocols, conducting site audits, and delivering training to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.

You will supervise field safety activities, collaborate with general contractors, and provide updates to site management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' safety experience in construction or similar field.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and guidelines.
• Current OSHA 30 (Construction) and First Aid/CPR required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily site walks to identify safety concerns and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Provide training to craft employees on safety measures, policies, and best practices.
• Lead incident reviews with clients and GCs and report findings to Safety Manager.
