Job summary

Roche is seeking a Senior Field Engineering Specialist for Mass Spectrometry to lead nationwide installations, maintenance, and advanced troubleshooting of cobas i601 MS platforms. You will serve as the national SME, mentoring field engineers and coordinating cross-region support while traveling extensively to customer sites.

The role requires a strong background in LC-MS hardware, vacuum systems, and analytical mass spectrometry, with the ability to train customers and deliver hands-on problem

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry or related field plus 3-5 years of progressive experience repairing or servicing complex mechanical/system hardware and software.

Responsibilities

• Serve as National Technical SME for cobas i601 MS platforms across customer labs nationwide.
• Lead advanced maintenance including vacuum pumps, ion sources, LC columns, and detector settings.
• Deliver national training to clinical lab personnel and internal service teams.
• Bridge hardware engineering repairs with customer application workflows to optimize run conditions.
