Job summary

bARTACO is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead the nationwide maintenance program for our restaurant portfolio. You will ensure safe, cost-effective operations of restaurant assets, oversee vendor relations, and drive standardized processes across states.

The role requires 3+ years in facilities or related fields, CMMS proficiency (Ecotrak preferred), and about 50% travel to DC, North, and Midwest locations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of facilities, project management, or construction experience.
• Multi-unit experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with CMMS platforms; Ecotrak experience strongly preferred.
• Travel is required to our restaurants about 50% of the time (Washington, DC and North with possible Midwest).
• One direct report; reports to Senior Director of Development + Facilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage a national facility maintenance and equipment program to achieve cost and service targets.
• Oversee growing multi-state facilities program with possible direct FM and Technician reports.
• Conduct maintenance audits at all restaurants and create a facilities database.
• Identify and prioritize restaurant needs with an implementation schedule.
• Manage a preventative maintenance program for all restaurants.
• Prequalify, select, and manage suppliers, contractors, and equipment installers.
• Provide weekly status reports generated from Ecotrak data.
• Own Ecotrak CMMS as the single system of record for work orders, invoicing, and communications.
• Triage incoming work orders daily and guide on-site resolution when possible.
• Build a first-level fix guide and training to reduce work order volume.
• Establish escalation criteria, response times, and after-hours protocol.
• Hands-on 20% and oversight 80% of the time.
• Support new unit development and remodel projects.
• Develop and manage contractor/vendor relationships to support operations.
• Conduct bi-annual vendor audits and site inspections for quality assurance.
