Job summary

Our Client, an established national environmental consultancy, seeks a National Energy Practice Leader to accelerate growth across a multimillion-dollar Energy Practice. Houston-based preference with flexibility to consider experienced leaders across the US.

You will lead strategic direction, expand client relationships, and diversify into power generation, utilities, renewables and broader energy markets while remaining technically engaged on remediation projects.

Qualifications

• Strong technical expertise in environmental site investigation and remediation.
• Proven seller/doer with approximately $1M+ in annual net revenue generated or managed through their own client relationships.
• Experience leading and growing a team, business unit, region or practice.
• Track record of developing client relationships and generating new business.
• Energy sector experience including power generation, utilities, renewables or other markets beyond traditional petroleum oil and gas.
• Ability to influence, collaborate with and inspire other senior professionals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a long-term growth strategy for the Energy Practice.
• Expand existing client relationships and identify new business opportunities across the energy sector.
• Help diversify the practice into power generation, utilities, renewables and other energy markets.
• Encourage collaboration and business development across regional offices and technical teams.
• Provide technical leadership on complex environmental site investigation and remediation projects.
• Maintain an active client portfolio while contributing to the wider commercial and strategic direction of the business.
