Job summary

InPwr, Inc. is seeking a National Electrical Foreman to join our traveling team. Lead journeymen and apprentices on commercial projects nationwide, ensuring NEC compliance and high safety standards.

This role requires 5+ years as a Journeyman Electrician in industrial or mission-critical environments, strong leadership, and the ability to work 58 hours per week with 17 days on/4 off. Travel-heavy, fast-paced, team-focused environment.

Qualifications

  • 18+ years old.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 5+ years as Journeyman Electrician with industrial/mission-critical experience.
  • Ability to read maps, manuals, specs, blueprints and instructions.
  • Knowledge of the NEC and how to navigate its guidelines.
  • Proficient with conduit bending and hand tools.
  • Strong work ethic, team player, leadership ability.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Adherence to safety procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a job site of journeyman electricians and apprentices.
  • Install service wiring, conduits, fixtures and other electrical devices on commercial projects.
  • Follow designs, drawings and wiring diagrams to complete installations.
  • Ensure all electrical work meets NEC and local codes.
  • Document work performed and progress.
  • Conduct toolbox talks and daily reporting.

Schedule

This is a Traveling Position. Must be open to working 17 days on and 4 days off. Ability to work 10 hours per day, 58 hours per week, overtime as required and night shifts.

Day to Day and Essential Functions
  • Lead a job site of journeyman / electricians / apprentices
  • Install service wiring, conduits, fixtures and other electrical devices and systems on commercial projects
  • Install projects as contracted and designed utilizing design drawings, specifications, and wiring diagrams
  • Install all electrical work to meet or exceed current National Electrical Code (NEC) as well as local codes and requirements
  • Completes accurate and thorough documentation of work performed and processes involved
  • Daily Reporting, Look-Aheads, and progress updates requiredConduct weekly toolbox talks
  • Follow correct process and procedures for all company policies
  • Maintain compliance to all PPE and safety regulations per OSHA and company programs
  • Leads, guides, and / or trains other electricians in applicable procedures and techniques
Qualifications and Skills
  • Must be 18 or older.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 5+ years experience as a Journeyman Electrician with industrial / mission critical experience. (Data Center, Waste Water, etc.)
  • Read maps, manuals, specs, blueprints, and instructions.
  • Knowledge of the NEC and the ability to navigate the guidelines.
  • Bend conduit by hand and use all standard power tools (saws, threaders, wire tuggers, hydraulic benders, knockout punches).
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence

  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Follow all company safety procedures.
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

This role requires the ability to work in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow, and utilize standard construction site facilities. Team members must carry personal tools (approximately 30 lbs.) and work from various types of ladders, scaffolds, and aerial lifts at heights up to 90 feet. Duties involve accessing restricted areas such as manholes, tunnels, and crawl spaces, wearing appropriate PPE, and performing repetitive motions with arms, hands, and fingers. Candidates should be prepared for physically demanding tasks, including bending, stooping, climbing, lifting up to 51 lbs., and completing overhead work for extended periods. The position requires good vision, constant movement, and the ability to work long shifts (up to 10 hours per day, 58 hours per week), including overtime and night shifts.
