Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Construction Program Manager to develop and execute nationwide programs for new builds, retrofits, and facilities initiatives. The role drives alignment across project managers, reviews budgets and schedules, and reports to senior leaders.

Travel >60% nationwide with relocation options; candidates in reasonable commuting distance to a corporate office are preferred. The position blends construction engineering, planning, PM, facilities management, and contract management,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years with AutoCAD and/or BIM and scheduling software (Primavera, MS Project, or similar).
• 5+ years as Architect, Engineer, Construction Manager, or related construction discipline.
• 5+ years of project management spanning design through handover.
• 5+ years negotiating construction, procurement, and/or labor contracts.

Responsibilities

• Manage program over new construction, renovations, and capacity improvements of facilities in North America.
• Align goals, roles, risk management, and reporting with planning teams and leadership.
• Support execution teams with centralized processes, reports, and escalation.
• Identify resource needs and procure supplemental programmatic resources as needed.
• Review design standards for value engineering and cost-effective changes.
• Lead negotiations with regulatory bodies as required.
