Job summary

Amazon's Global Engineering Services (GES) NA Design & Construction team seeks a Construction Manager to serve as Amazon's owner's representative in delivering built facilities and infrastructure supporting our logistics network.

You will manage the full construction lifecycle—from design review and contractor procurement through construction execution and operational handover—for new builds, retrofits, expansions, and program initiatives across the Houston region, coordinating with developers,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Architect/Engineer/Construction Manager roles.
• 5+ years of project management across design through handover.
• 5+ years negotiating construction, procurement, and/or labor contracts.
• 5+ years proficiency with AutoCAD and/or BIM, and scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Amazon's owner's representative across all assigned projects.
• Manage multiple projects from design phase to handover.
• Review bids, budgets, and schedules; resolve discrepancies.
• Own budget tracking, cashflow forecasting, and cost management.
• Negotiate construction, procurement, and labor contracts.
• Audit contractor performance to meet project requirements.
