Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years in commercial title processing or similar role.
• Experience evaluating complex commercial transactions for insurability.
• Strong knowledge of title commitments, surveys, and related documentation.
• Ability to coordinate with lenders, attorneys, and other stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and verbal/written communication.

Responsibilities

• Open and establish new transaction files and draft preliminary requirements and notes for title commitments.
• Review purchase, loan documents, affidavits, title documents, surveys and due diligence to identify issues and required curative actions.
• Coordinate all aspects of commercial title orders from opening to closing with clients, lenders, attorneys, brokers, and internal teams.
• Assist senior underwriters by gathering and organizing documentation for underwriting decisions.
• Order, track, and review due diligence items such as title searches, lien reports, UCCs, and tax certifications.
• Prepare title commitments, preliminary reports, endorsements, settlement statements, and final policies.
