Job summary

Hire Consulting Services is seeking a National Commercial Title Coordinator and Processor in Midtown Manhattan. You will handle open-to-close transaction coordination for complex commercial real estate deals, interacting with lenders, attorneys, brokers, buyers, and sellers to ensure title readiness and compliance.

The role requires 4+ years in commercial title work, strong underwriting knowledge, and proficiency with title production software. Hybrid work arrangement offered in NYC.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of substantive experience as a commercial title processor, title coordinator, assistant or junior underwriter or similar commercial real estate transaction role.
• Experience assisting senior underwriters in evaluating complex commercial transactions and determining insurability.
• Strong understanding of commercial title insurance, underwriting principles, title commitments, and related documentation.
• Experience coordinating with lenders, attorneys, real estate agents, buyers, sellers, and other stakeholders.
• Proficiency with title insurance production software and standard office applications.

Responsibilities

• Open and establish new transaction files and draft preliminary requirements for title commitments.
• Review purchase/sale/loan documents, affidavits, title documents, and surveys for issues and risks.
• Coordinate all aspects of commercial title orders from opening to closing and maintain client communications.
• Assist senior underwriters by gathering, reviewing, and organizing documentation for underwriting decisions.
• Order and review due diligence items like title searches, UCCs, and tax certifications.
• Prepare title commitments, preliminary reports, endorsements, and final policies.
