Job summary

AE2S seeks a Civil Practice Leader to steer the nationwide Civil Practice, shaping strategy, growth, and technical direction across multiple states. This role will collaborate with leadership to expand capabilities, win major pursuits, and mentor engineers and staff.

The incumbent will drive national vision, build a strong leadership presence, and strengthen client relationships while guiding innovative civil engineering solutions for municipalities, developers, and industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 10+ years of experience in site civil, municipal engineering, or related.
• 2 years of leadership experience leading teams, initiatives, or practice areas.
• Demonstrated track record of technical excellence and client relationship development.
• Ability to travel periodically to support conferences, project pursuits, client meetings, and other activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the national vision and strategy for AE2S’s Civil Practice.
• Partner across regions to grow teams, capabilities and marketing presence.
• Lead technical direction and elevate quality across civil projects.
• Advance emerging trends in the civil practice and represent AE2S in industry events.
• Mentor engineers and technical staff across offices and support business development.
