Job summary

AE2S, a 100% employee-owned engineering firm, seeks a Civil Practice Leader to provide nationwide leadership for a diverse portfolio of civil engineering services and to shape strategy across multiple states.

You will mentor engineers, expand capabilities, drive client relationships, and lead business development while elevating project delivery and technical excellence across AE2S’s national footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field.
• PE license required or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 10+ years of site civil, municipal engineering experience.
• 2 years of leadership experience leading teams or practice areas.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with clients and the public.
• Ability to travel periodically for conferences, pursuits, and client meetings.

Responsibilities

• Set and drive the national vision for AE2S' civil practice.
• Partner across regions to grow teams, capabilities, and marketing presence.
• Lead technical direction and elevate quality across all civil projects.
• Anticipate and operationalize emerging trends in the civil practice.
• Represent AE2S as a voice in the industry through client advisory roles and conferences.
• Support major pursuits and provide technical leadership in business development.
• Mentor and develop engineers and technical staff across offices.
