Job summary

Advanced Engineering and Environmental Services, Inc. (AE2S) seeks a Civil Practice Leader to guide our nationwide Civil Practice from Fargo, ND. This leadership role shapes technical direction, growth, and service offerings for municipalities, developers, and industries across multiple states.

You will drive national strategy, expand capabilities, mentor engineers, and collaborate with leadership to secure pursuits, influence projects, and build a recognized practice regionally and nationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or directly related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 10+ years of experience in site civil, municipal engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Set and drive the national vision for the civil engineering practice.
• Partner across regions to grow teams, capabilities and marketing presence.
• Lead technical direction and elevate quality across all civil projects.
• Anticipate and operationalize emerging trends in the civil practice.
• Represent AE2S as a recognized voice in the industry through client advisory roles, conferences, and professional engagements.
• Support major pursuits and provide technical leadership in business development.
• Mentor and develop engineers and technical staff across offices.
