Job summary

Arktura LLC, a subsidiary of Armstrong World Industries, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager in Carson, CA. You will drive product specifications with architects and designers nationwide, manage independent reps, and grow revenue and margins while collaborating with engineering and product teams.

The role requires 4+ years in architectural sales or manufacturing, a related bachelor’s degree, and strong communication, CAD, and CRM skills. Travel 11–25% and full-time status are included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field preferred.
• High school diploma/GED required.
• 3+ years of related experience.
• 4+ recent years of architectural sales or architectural manufacturing industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Serves as an expert on company products and competitive brands to provide technical expertise for successful specifications.
• Communicates with the Sales Team and independent representative network for product sales coordination.
• Identifies projects, key players, and decision-makers to increase product specifications by architects and designers.
• Develops and grows relationships with architects, designers, general contractors, installers, and end users.
• Reports and tracks opportunity changes and pricing in the CRM system.
• Demonstrates leadership and represents the company brand in meetings.
• Provides ongoing technical support and guidance to architects and designers.
• Guides project specifications for manufacturability and feasibility prior to handoff.
• Performs risk assessments with engineering during design conversations when possible.
• Collaborates with Project Management and Product Technical Teams to address client needs.
• Uses company tools to evaluate, price, and quote projects for clients and reps.
• Completes monthly directives and achieves defined goals.
• Strives to meet regional sales revenue and margin targets.
• Develops and executes strategic plans leveraging assets and resources.
• Recruits, onboards, trains, and manages independent representatives.
• Maintains strong relationships with reps to align strategies and goals.
• Plans and attends trade shows, supporting reps at their events and evaluating impact.
