ERM is seeking a Principal Consultant, Archaeologist to lead and deliver culturally resource projects across the United States from our US offices. The role combines technical leadership, project oversight, and business development to strengthen client relationships and advance ERM’s sustainability consulting leadership.

You will mentor archaeologists, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure safe, efficient delivery within scope, budget, schedule, and quality expectations.

Qualificações

• Graduate degree in Anthropology, Archaeology, or closely related field of study, or equivalent experience.
• 6–8 years of related paid experience.
• RPA credential meeting SHPO requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as a permitted BLM Principal Investigator.
• Obtain federal and state permits required to execute projects.
• Provide QA/QC for deliverables.
• Oversee desktop studies and field investigations (reconnaissance, pedestrian surveys, testing, excavations, construction monitoring).
• Lead, supervise, and develop archaeologists; participate in hiring and training.
• Coordinate with leadership to support team performance and project delivery.
• Represent ERM in client meetings and with regulatory agencies.
