Job summary

Insurance Office of America (IOA) is seeking a National Analytic Consultant – Employee Benefits to lead analytics for underwriting, renewal, and client strategy on a national scope. The role collaborates with Benefits teams, Producers, and clients to deliver data-driven insights improving underwriting decisions and program performance.

The position emphasizes strong analysis, communication, and stakeholder collaboration, with a remote Eastern Time Zone and Florida option, and a hybrid on-site

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or related field
• Knowledge of underwriting, manual rating methodologies, funding arrangements, healthcare pricing tools, and financial risk assessment principles
• Understanding of experience rating, claim cost projections, and data‑driven financial analysis
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and consultative solution‑development skills
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and customer service skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and perform effectively in a fast‑paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings to technical and non‑technical audiences

Responsibilities

• Lead and support data analytics activities on a national scale across underwriting, renewal, and client consulting.
• Provide underwriting support with data-driven recommendations for carrier pricing and funding analyses.
• Deliver insights to help clients understand risks, trends, opportunities, and program performance.
• Assist Sales with renewals, prospecting, and business development through analytics support.
• Create reports, dashboards, and presentations communicating complex information clearly.
