Job summary

Insurance Office of America (IOA) is seeking a National Analytic Consultant in Employee Benefits to lead analytics activities nationwide. This remote role supports Eastern Time and Florida while coordinating with Longwood, FL, colleagues.

Requires 5–7 years of experience and strong data-driven consulting skills. You will collaborate with Producers, Benefits teams, and clients to influence underwriting and renewal decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent field experience.
• Strong knowledge of underwriting, manual rating methodologies, funding arrangements, healthcare pricing tools, and financial risk assessment principles.
• Experience rating, claim cost projections, and data-driven financial analysis expected.

Responsibilities

• Data Analytics & Interpretation: Gather, analyze, and interpret underwriting, claims, financial, and benefits data to support client strategy and decision‑making.
• Underwriting Support: Evaluate underwriting data and develop recommendations to support carrier pricing, negotiations, and funding analyses.
• Client Consulting: Deliver data‑driven insights that help clients understand risks, trends, opportunities, and program performance.
• Sales Support: Provide analytical support for renewals, presentations, prospecting, and business development initiatives.
• Reporting & Presentation Development: Create reports, dashboards, financial exhibits, and presentations that communicate complex information clearly.
• Analytics Process Management: Develop and maintain analytics methodologies, reporting standards, and best practices.
• Technology Optimization: Utilize analytics, reporting, and BI tools to enhance client outcomes.
• Performance Analysis: Analyze trends and financial metrics to identify optimization opportunities.
• Process Improvement: Recommend and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with Senior Analytic Consultants, Producers, Account Teams, carriers, and internal stakeholders.
• Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication of findings and recommendations.
• Training & Knowledge Sharing: Provide analytical guidance and support team development.
• Technical Expertise: Maintain knowledge of underwriting methodologies and market trends.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to policies and standards.
