Job summary

Insurance Office of America (IOA) is seeking a National Analytic Consultant – Employee Benefits to lead national data analytics initiatives, collect and interpret underwriting, claims and financial data, and deliver client-ready insights that inform renewals and pricing.

You will collaborate with Senior Analytic Consultants, Producers and Benefits teams to support growth, operational excellence, and strategic decision-making while leveraging BI tools and analytics best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Knowledge of underwriting, manual rating, funding arrangements, healthcare pricing tools, and financial risk assessment principles.
• Understanding of experience rating, claim cost projections, and data-driven financial analysis.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and consultative solution-development skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and perform in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and interpret underwriting, claims, financial, and benefits data to support client strategy and decision-making.
• Evaluate underwriting data and develop recommendations to support pricing negotiations and funding analyses.
• Deliver data-driven insights that help clients understand risks, trends, opportunities, and program performance.
• Provide analytical support for renewals, presentations, prospecting, and business development initiatives.
• Create reports, dashboards, and presentations that communicate complex information clearly and effectively.
• Develop and maintain analytics methodologies, reporting standards, and best practices.
