Job summary

Insurance Office of America (IOA) seeks a National Analytic Consultant for Employee Benefits to drive data analytics, underwriting support, and client advisory services on a national scale. The role partners with senior consultants, producers, and benefit teams to translate data into actionable insights for underwriting, renewals, and strategic decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• Knowledge of underwriting, manual rating methodologies, funding arrangements, healthcare pricing tools, and financial risk assessment principles.
• Understanding of experience rating, claim cost projections, and data‑driven financial analysis.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and consultative solution‑development skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and perform effectively in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support IOA Benefits Group data analytics activities on a national scale.
• Collect, analyze, interpret, report, and consult with clients on analytics.
• Support underwriting evaluations, renewal negotiations, funding analyses, and client decisions.
• Provide data‑driven insights to help clients understand risks, trends, and program performance.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate complex information clearly.
