Job summary

Insurance Office of America (IOA) seeks a National Analytic Consultant – Employee Benefits to lead and support data analytics across the Benefits Group on a national scale. You will gather, analyze, and interpret underwriting, claims, and financial data to inform client strategy, renewals, and funding analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant quantitative or business field.
• Knowledge of underwriting, funding arrangements, and pricing tools.
• Understanding of experience rating and data-driven financial analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and consultative skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to translate complex data for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support analytics activities on underwriting and benefits data.
• Evaluate data to inform carrier pricing, negotiations, and funding analyses.
• Deliver data-driven insights to clients on risks, trends, and program performance.
• Provide analytical support for renewals, presentations, and business development.
• Create reports, dashboards, and financial Exhibits for communication.
• Develop analytics methodologies and best practices for consistency.
• Leverage BI tools to enhance client outcomes and operations.
• Analyze trends and benchmarks to identify optimization opportunities.
• Recommend process improvements for reporting accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate with Senior Analytic Consultants, Producers, and account teams.
• Communicate findings clearly to stakeholders; share knowledge across the team.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of underwriting methodologies and market trends.
