Insurance Office of America (IOA) seeks a National Analytic Consultant for Employee Benefits to lead analytics across the benefits group nationally. The role partners with Senior Analysts, Producers, and client teams to deliver data-driven insights for underwriting evaluations, renewals, funding analyses, and strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, economics, statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, or related field.
• Knowledge of underwriting, manual rating methodologies, funding arrangements, healthcare pricing tools, and financial risk assessment principles.
• Understanding of experience rating, claim cost projections, and data‑driven financial analysis.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and consultative solution‑development skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Data analytics & interpretation: gather, analyze, and interpret underwriting, claims, financial, and benefits data.
• Underwriting support: evaluate underwriting data and develop recommendations for pricing and funding analyses.
• Client consulting: deliver data-driven insights to help clients understand risks, trends, and program performance.
• Sales support: provide analytical support for renewals, presentations, prospecting, and business development.
• Reporting & presentation development: create reports, dashboards, and financial exhibits.
• Analytics process management: develop and maintain analytics methodologies and reporting standards.
• Technology optimization: evaluate analytics tools to enhance outcomes.
• Performance analysis: analyze trends and benchmarks to identify optimization opportunities.
• Process improvement: implement improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
• Stakeholder collaboration: partner with Senior Analysts, Producers, account teams, carriers, and internal stakeholders.
• Communication: maintain clear communication of findings and recommendations.
• Training & knowledge sharing: provide analytical guidance and SME support to the team.
• Technical expertise: maintain knowledge of underwriting methodologies, funding, and market trends.
• Compliance: ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
