Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a National Account Manager - Security to manage and grow strategic national accounts, protecting operations while expanding long-term relationships.

You will lead accounts from opportunity identification through pre-sales planning, deal execution, post-sales installation planning, and follow-up to support customer satisfaction. You will develop and expand national accounts across multiple sites, drive new sales opportunities with current customers, and

Qualifications

• College degree in sales/marketing or related field.
• 5+ years commercial sales experience, incl. 3+ years in major accounts in security.
• Proven ability to access senior corporate contacts.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel 25%+.

Responsibilities

• Develop and expand existing and new national accounts within a defined territory.
• Drive new sales opportunities with existing customers and position the business for continued success.
• Contact and secure new business accounts with multiple site locations across the country.
• Lead all aspects of assigned accounts from identification through post-sales planning and follow-up.
• Resolve invoicing, service, and post-sales issues to support satisfaction and repeat business.
• Achieve targeted sales growth for national accounts with profitable margins.
• Build relationships with facilities, loss prevention, IT, finance and other decision makers.
• Collaborate with Sales Director and internal teams to support profitability and growth.
